July 31, 2014
We all went with Alex to receive his own endowment to the Redlands Temple.
In late July we realized at late notice that our vacation plans were changed and that we would have to take Alex to the temple in the next few days or it wouldn't happen. It had to happen, of course, so we scrambled to find a time we could all go with him to support him. So glad we did it when we did, because his Aunt Mindy happened to be in town.
It was a wonderful day!
What a blessing for Alex to have so many loved ones with him on his very special day!
Mom and Dad are so proud of our boy for the choices he has made!
Being in the temple with my own child was such a joyful experience! Temples are all about families, and the work that goes on in the temples make families last forever, so to be in the temple with so many of my family members, including my own child, is one of the sweetest experiences one could ever have!
Grandma and Grandpa Signs with Alex.
So glad Grandma Wilber was able to get off work at short notice to come! It wouldn't have been the same without her.
Three generations!
We are so glad Aunt Shirley could be there too!
And of course, Aunt Mindy and Aunt Lisa.
The Signs ladies together again (minus Natalee, of course. Miss you, Nat!) It was so wonderful to be in the temple together!
After the temple we had to show Alex another Mormon tradition: Cafe Rio, of course. It's just what you do after going to the temple.
So proud of my kid! I'm sure gonna miss him!
