Derek: I'm Safe

Derek's quick email, the morning after his midnight flight:

 I got here safely. The elder I meet at the airport is my companion. Everybody here is so cool and kind so far. Anyway, our p-days are Thursday. So I'll talk to you then. Tell Dad and Dylan I love them and I love you too.
